Jigarthanda Double X is a 100 crore film: Producer Kaarthekeyen reveals!

With exactly one month to go for the release of Jigarthanda Double X, the team kick-started the promotional run for the film with the launch of the song Maamadura, which took place yesterday at the Sathyam theatre in Chennai. The team led by Karthik Subbaraj, producer Kaarthekeyan Santhanam, actors Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah, and composer Santhosh Narayanan attended the event.

At the event, producer Karthekeyan Santhanam said that the budget of Jigarthanda Double X is 100 crore, which has made it one of the most expensive films in Karthik Subbaraj’s career till date. The film is now complete with only few works left to be done, and the team is getting busy promoting the film pan-India. After the press meet in Chennai, today the team is flying to Hyderabad for the launch of the song in Telugu. Many interviews, events, promotional videos and more are planned for the coming days.
