Jayam Ravi’s Thani Oruvan is progressing well

Directed by M. Raja and Produced by AGS Entertainment, Thani Oruvan has Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara in lead roles. This is the first time Raja has penned an original script for a movie considering all his earlier films were remakes from other languages, mostly Telugu. The team is looking forward to wrap up shoot by August. The film has been shot extensively across the length and breadth of the country including Rishikesh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai.

AGS is eyeing for a release in December considering the stiff competition for the Diwali race and the subsequent month. Ramji of Paruthiveeran and Aayirathil Oruvan fame handles the cinematography and Devi Sri Prasad scores music for the film. It is tipped off that both Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara are essaying cop roles in the film.
