Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan is getting ready to hit the screens on the 9th of January 2026, becoming the first film of the year to arrive for Tamil cinema. And now, we hear that the OTT rights of the film have been bagged by Amazon Prime for a price of 121 crores, which is one of the highest in Tamil cinema. The rights for the film made Jana Nayagan the first big buy of 2026, for Kollywood.
Jana Nayagan’s shoot is nearing completion and the team plans to wrap up everything by the end of this month. The makers are planning to take more time for the post production, and will enough time for promotions as well.
