The duo (Nelson – Anirudh) that changed the course of promo videos have come up with another banger of announcement for Jailer 2. The video was designed to pack as much punch and excitement as possible with Nelson, Anirudh and the iconic Superstar Rajinikanth.
It starts with Nelson and Anirudh chilling in a beach house in Goa discussing on what film to do next. It includes a dig at Anirudh’s never-ending lineup of releases, and how Nelson hasn’t done a film in five cyclones. And then, just as they decide to take a bigger chill pill, we see windows shattering, glass breaking, doors thrown away, and henchmen running for their life as the most famous silhouette of Indian cinema walks into the frame. And then… the “Hukum” number from Jailer, and Tiger takes over the video as we are primed to the announcement of Jailer 2.
With the video ending as ‘Shoot to commence soon’, the other cast and crew announcement is awaited.
