Jai to romance Shruti Haasan?

Jai, who won the hearts of the audience for his ingenuous performance in Raja Rani by pairing opposite the glam queen Nayanthara, is all set to romance Shruti Hassan, we hear. Sources say that the movie has been titled Jagajaalan and will be directed by Parthy Baskar, designer Vasuki Baskar’s brother and nephew of Maestro Ilaiyaraaja. The film will be a romantic comedy and a family entertainer. Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose music for the film.

The team settled with Shruti Hassan since they felt she fits in to the story aptly. But, whether or not the radiant actress is approached is not known. Meanwhile, the gorgeous actress is busy with Ramana’s official remake ‘Gabbar’ in Hindi and she’s eagerly waiting for her Telugu film ‘Race Ghurram’ release this Friday, where she pairs opposite Tollywood sensation Allu Arjun. Her next film in Tamil ‘Poojai’ directed by Hari starring Vishal is commencing this Friday, April 11th and slated to release on Diwali day.
