The movie portrays the anger of a common man and his passion towards fellow humans. Vikram Prabhu eyeing himself as a common man, shows his anger on Vamsi Krishna, a real bad guy exploiting the public backed up by his brother – A powerful politician. Ivan Vera Maathiri is a story from the real incident that happened in law college and by adding cinematic flavors gives us a clean entertainer with the help of unlatching screenplay by Director Saravanan.

First half is a dark thriller and fantasy, cocktailed with romance & thrill through out its frame. Vamsi, a prisoner comes out in parole  to meet his brother and is kidnapped by Vikram Prabhu, made as a dark prisoner in an unfinished apartment in the outskirts of the city. The pressure is felt day by day by both Vamsi and his brother not to go back prison on time. Vamsi is brutally tortured and unable to escape gets a limp of clue to trace Vikram Prabhu in the second half of the movie. Vamsi then takes revenge by kidnapping Surabhi and tortures her to trace Vikram Prabhu. What happens then? Did Vamsi took his revenge on Vikram Prabhu or the hero finds her love and escapes, is the climax.

Considering Performance, Vikram Prabhu dealt with an engaging and dedicating act. He is sure to make a long stand in Cinema – Proved! Surabhi as cute, charming, ofcourse finds her space to prove as well. Her daring act in the second half will be surely appreciated. Congrats lady.. The baddie Vamsi Krishna, an expressive performance yet again. He has a great charisma and his screen presence is highly competitive to smart heroes in Town! Though Ganesh Venkatraman comes for few scenes from 2nd half, he rocked in his style as a Police Officer post Unnai Pol Oruvan.

Positives – Screenplay as said by director, Challenging BGM by Sathya, Stunts by Rajasekar & Performances! You might feel bit draggy in the movie’s second half but nothing exceeds the plot. Overall, Ivan Vera Maathiri is for sure here to entertain and Director Saravanan registers his second consecutive HIT!!
