“It’s quite a challenge to do a film like Tik Tik Tik in Tamil,” says Jayam Ravi

Jayam Ravi, who is waiting for his first release in 2018 through Tik Tik Tik, said it would be an important movie in his career.

Speaking at the audio launch, he said, “Director Shakti sir took me to the sets even before we started the shoot. And the work art director Murthy sir had done was unbelievable. We have seen many things in cinema including the setpieces of a world that doesn’t exist. Tik Tik Tik is one such attempt, and Murthy sir is the sole reason for making it happen.”

Talking about the on-screen debut of his six-year-old son, Ravi said, “I have never seen him sit so calm at my home. But on the sets, he would sit for more than two hours before the monitor. When we shot our first scene, I was so tensed that he had to remind me my dialogue. And during the dubbing when the director asked him for some variations, he did many and left Shakti in confusion.”

Produced by Jhabak Films, Tik Tik Tik has Nivetha Pethuraj as the lead heroine. The movie is all set to hit screens worldwide on January 26th for the Republic Day weekend.
