Director Anand Shankar has assured that his sophomore effort Iru Mugan will be one of the visually stunning films. “Iru Mugan wouldn’t have happened without the dedication of Vikram sir. It’s because of him the project came alive. I have added a new element in the screenplay. If you liked the teaser & trailer, you’ll love the film too,” said Anand Shankar.
Vikram too acknowledged Anand’s dedication and said, “I was a little emotional to hear people speak. Thanks to everyone for their kind words. It pushes me do more. When Iru Mugan was shifted hands and getting delayed, Anand got an opportunity to work with a top hero, but he refused the offer saying it’s not ethical and waited for this project to kick off.”
“Enacting a dual role has been my dream. We need new crop of directors like Anand Shankar, who are energetic and spirited on sets. I enjoyed working with a youngster like him and I loved the young team,” Vikram added.
Iru Mugan is all set for release on September 1st worldwide.
