Iru Mugan team clarifies on Nayanthara’s detention at KL airport
The makers of Iru Mugan have issued a statement clarifying their stand on Nayanthara’s detention at the Kuala Lumpur airport three days back. “Work permit rules in Malaysia are different in the two terminals. Usually, travellers to India travel through KL1. But the new airline (Malindo) operates from KL2. There, the immigration officials had few clarifications on work permit and visa stamping for Nayanthara’s supporting team. Later, Nayanthara herself spoke to the authorities and sorted out the issue and the whole team travelled back to India smoothly,” reads a statement from the team.
The makers have also lodged a complaint with the immigration department for leaking screenshot of Nayanthara’s passport which has been going viral on social media platforms for the past two days.
