Iranian classic Children of Heaven remade in Tamil as Akka Kuruvi
Acclaimed Iranian classic Children Of Heaven has been remade in Tamil by director Saamy, known for making controversial films such as Mirugam and Sindhu Samaveli.
The movie has been titled Akka Kuruvi and features newcomers as kids. The film is set against the backdrop of Kodaikanal and is jointly produced by Madurai Muthu Movies and Kanavu Thozhirchalai, who hold the south Indian remake rights for the film.
