Inspiring father-son duo in Trisha Illana Nayanthara

GV Prakash’s upcoming film Trisha Illana Nayanthara has an inspiring father-son duo working on the crew. It’s none other than director Adhik Ravichandran and his father Ravi Kandhasamy, who works as an assistant director to his son. “Aadhik always has been  a  match winner, he approaches things with confidence. This makes him achieve his goal. He was more aggressive than I was and it paid him while the film is in the initial stages itself. Now, I’m very proud to say that am working as an assistant director to my son,” says Ravi Kandasamy with pride.

“My father is my inspiration. Parents never want their kids to be studious and not to waste time in cinema. I grew up seeing my father struggling as an assisitant director. He has worked under many directors like Bharathiraaja sir and Selvamani sir for the past 16 years. It got the determination in me that I should be a director one day,” says Adhik.
