Indian 2: Shankar reveals the reason why film was split into two parts
At the press meet of Indian 2 which took place last night, director Shankar revealed that it was in his plans to make the sequel of Indian 2, in two parts. With Indian 3 also coming, the director said “Indian 2 happens in one state, so it had to be clubbed as one film. But Indian 3, the story moves to multiple states and has different geographies. So we wanted to keep that separate. If I made both of them as one film, we would lose out on the soul.”
The director also clarified about Indian thaatha’s age in the film, saying “There is a martial artist in China who is 120 years old and still does all the action. In the same way, Senapathy is more than 100 years old but carries out everything himself.”
