“I’m sure audiences will be enthralled watching Nayanthara’s dual role in Airaa,” says Sarjun KM
The unexpected transformation of Lady Superstar Nayanthara for her upcoming film ‘Airaa’ has left everyone in surprise because she has been seen in dark-skinned character for one of her roles. The single track ‘Megathoodham’ released last evening has received a good response too.
Filmmaker Sarjun KM explains why the song has been tag-lined as Bhavani’s Anthem. “I am sure, for the ones who have already listened to the track, they would have easily found the answer. It’s a song that beautifies the emotions of a character called ‘Bhavani’, her dreams, aspirations, and yearning for a heavenly life with her soulmate,” says Sarjun, who accredits appreciations upon the earnest efforts of Padmapriya Raghavan-Thamarai-Sundaramurthy.
“These three wizardries remain inseparable in delivering a beautiful song that is now being ennobled as slow poison. Thamarai mam is always known as the elixir of emotions, where she elevates the feeling of love unconditionally through her lyrics. Nayanthara’s stupendous screen presence will bring additional mileage to the song,” Sarjun added.
As he speaks about Nayanthara’s performance in the film, he says, “It’s her 63rd film and the way I admired watching her performances as a fan to this point of directing her, I see that Nayanthara mam has just kept upgrading herself as a phenomenal performer. I am sure audiences will be enthralled watching Two-dimensional Nayanthara(s) in this film, especially for her character of ‘Bhavani’.”
Airaa has a star-comprising of Kalaiyarasan and Yogi Babu performing important characters. The film is produced by Kotapadi J Rajesh for KJR Studios, and is likely to release on March 1st.
