“I’m back”, says Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu

In the press meet organised by AGS Entertainment for Tenaliraman, Vadivel was quite candid on his past. It was actually after years Vadivelu is being part of a press meet. I was approached by a lot of filmmakers but was waiting for a good script that would be worthy enough to make a firm comeback, said Vadivelu. He also made few gags when asked about his rendezvous with politics two years back. “Everything looks like a comedy when I look back now”, quips Vadivelu.

Tenaliraman is Vadivelu’s third period film after Imsai Arasan 23-am Pulikesi and Indiralogathil Na Alagappan. He plays dual roles in this film too. The film is directed by Yuvaraj and Meenakshi Dixit is paired opposite Vadivel. It also has Manobala, Radharavi and Santhana Bharathi playing supporting roles. The music launch of the film also happened today following the press meet at Prasad Lab. The music for the film is composed by the recent sensation Imman, which is also his first period film.
