Ilayaraja completes his 1000th film; grand audio launch on cards!
Maestro Ilaiyaraja has finished composing songs for director Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai, which also marks Isaignani’s 100th film. Produced by Bala’s homebanner B Studios, Thaarai Thappattai is progressing at a brisk pace and the team is shooting round the clock. A grand audio launch function is planned for the film to celebrate the illustrious achievement of Ilaiyaraja.
Featuring Sasikumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles, RK Suresh, the managing director of Studio 9 Productions, plays the antagonist role in Thaaarai Thappattai. The story revolves around Karagaattam, a traditional dance form of Tamils. Bala’s another production venture Pisaasu directed by Mysskin is currently under post-production.
