After starting to produce three biggies in the form of Idli Kadai, Parasakthi and STR49, Aakash Baskaran has now presented his directorial debut in the form of Idhayam Murali, a romantic drama which has Atharvaa Murali in the lead role.
The film’s teaser which was launched yesterday immediately impressed one and all, and people have been raving about it already. The teaser showcases a funny love scene after which we get a picture of a matured Atharvaa, who is on his way back to India. The film features a cast that has Preity Mukundhan, Rakshan, Kayadu Lohar, Angelin and others but the highlight is the return of Thaman as an actor, apart from being a composer as well.
Idhayam Murali is salted to hit the screens in June/July 2025.
