I was disappointed that STR’s Pathu Thala look was revealed in VTK: Director OBE Krishna

In a recent interview, Pathu Thala director OBE Krishna has expressed his disinterest over the reveal of Silambarasan TR’s Pathu Thala look in the climax of Venthu Thanindhathu Kaadu.

“I was embarrassed and disappointed that the Pathu Thala look was revealed in the climax of VTK. GVM sir had re-written the script in that way, and though STR said that he will slightly alter the look and make it look different from what it is in Pathu Thala, I was put down. A hero’s look is the film’s USP. Just because GVM is my boss and STR is my friend and the film’s hero, I had to say okay and let go. When I went to the theatre to see VTK, people were realising it as Pathu Thala look. I was happy to see that, I took it positively,” said the director.

Pathu Thala is all set for a grand release in theatres on the 30th of March.
