Dhanush, who graced the audio launch of Santhanam’s Sakka Podu Podu Raja as a chief guest, put forth a request to Simbu. “I request Simbu to act in at least two films per year for the love his fans have for him.”
“We both entered the industry a decade back around the same time as a hero. We have had our share of successes and failures. Cinema will always provide immediate opportunities. A lot of legends have faded away. But, it’s been nearly fifteen years. Simbu is still surviving in the industry. That speaks about his talent. He is a complete all-rounder and was born to be a star, unlike me who was pushed into acting accidentally,” Dhanush added.
Dhanush also praised Santhanam by saying that his dance movements and dialogue delivery have improved a lot. One of the highlights of the event was when Dhanush and Santhanam enacted a comedy scene from Vetrimaaran’s Pollathavan, which saw them share screen space with each other.
