“I play a very challenging role,” Soori on Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen

Actor Soori, who plays a Dubai return in Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen, says he has played a very challenging role in the movie, which is set to hit screens this Friday.

“This is my 5th film with Ezhil sir. I often play roles where I stand along with the hero, but here in “Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen” I play a role which is against the hero. I play a very challenging role, it is a proper mixture of Villain and Comedy. My characters name is Kalyanam and I team up with Regina to take the life out of Udhayanidhi who plays Saravanan the lead role. This is my first film with Udhayanidhi sir. He hails from such a reputed family but still maintains his simplicity in all occasions. Punctuality, respect to others, Sincerity and work discipline are his integrated characters. Following this film we are together in two other films too,” said Soori in a statement.

Directed by Ezhil, Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen has Regina Cassandra playing the leading lady.
