I never realised I have sung 100 plus songs: STR

Simbu, who has completed singing 100 songs recently, says he never realized about the feat until his fans started celebrating it on social media.

“Singing has always been my passion and it comes from my father. I am happy and lucky to have sung the songs that I have, with most being super hits. I never realised I have sung 100 plus songs. I would like to thank wholeheartedly all the music directors, directors and co-singers for having given me the opportunity to be a part of their journey,” said Simbu in a statement.

“Actually, I am a keen learner and the very experience of working with literally all the music directors keeps giving me a larger and wider sight into the world of music. I thank my fans for supporting and encouraging me in whatever avatar I am taking up. 100 is just a number as far as I am concerned but still attach a lot of pride to this moment. Cinema is an integral part of my life, soul, and system and I will strive harder to excel and carve a separate space for myself,” he added.
