“I missed out on Vishwaroopam opposite Kamal Haasan,” rues Anushka

When Vishwaroopam was started, there were many rumors that Anushka Shetty will play the lead heroine role opposite Kamal Haasan. Now, the actress has confirmed in a recent interview that she missed out the opportunity indeed. “I missed out on Vishwaroopam 1 opposite Kamal Haasan as well as Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu opposite Venkatesh. I liked it a lot but couldn’t do it. Anjali did a great job, however,” says Anushka.

Anushka Shetty is reportedly in the US on a weight loss therapy to get ready for the shooting of Baahubali 2 which began in Hyderabad few days back. She put on nearly 20 kilos for her role in Inji Iduppazhagi where she plays the role of an obese woman.
