I feel ashamed of Anitha’s suicide: Vijay Sethupathi

Paying respects to medical aspirant Anitha, who committed suicide a few days ago after she flunked the NEET entrance test, Vijay Sethupathi said he felt ashamed of it. “Education is really a basic necessity. When I think that a precious life has been lost because of this, I feel ashamed of it,” said Vijay Sethupathi.

“Politicians are dividing us on caste. It’s high time youngsters of Tamil Nadu learned more about politics than cinema. Information consumption is high these days, on WhatsApp, Facebook, and Twitter. Make sure you read more about politics,” added Vijay Sethupathi who is gearing up for the release of Karuppan next.
