I don’t want to kill the other job: KV Anand

Cinematographer-turned-directors have always opted for different cameramen for films that they direct. And, KV Anand is no exception. When quizzed about this, KV Anand says, “I’m not underestimating cinematography, but direction is a much more responsible job. Most of the time, the director gets extra time when the cameraman is busy with his lighting work. So, I don’t want to lose out on that extra time. Also, I don’t want to kill the other job by me doing both.”

Meanwhile, speculations continue as to who KV Anand directs next. There is a buzz that KV Anand will team up with writer Pattukottai Prabhakar for his next. An official confirmation is awaited from the director.
