“I don’t want to encourage the consumption of alcohol,” says Taapsee

Taapsee earned the appreciation of everyone when she turned down the offer to endorse a fairness cream. Now, she is again in the headlines since she has rejected a lucrative offer, this time from a liquor brand.

“Liquor definitely doesn’t fit the list of products I associate with, not only because I am a teetotaller but also for the fact that I don’t want my audience to feel I support its usage. I don’t want to encourage the consumption of alcohol,” says Taapsee who has recently signed CV Kumar’s debut directorial film opposite Sundeep Kishan.
