I cringe to cheat the audience, says Karthi
Karthi, who has had a slew of lukewarm releases post his Naan Mahaan Alla with director Suseenthiran, is pinning high hopes on Madras, which, interestingly, will take on Suseenthiran’s Jeeva at the ticket window next week. Karthi admits he is being very careful in promoting his films nowadays since he has experienced a lot over the past four years. “I never give false promises. I cringe to cheat the audience,” says Karthi to a daily.
“I love the attention Ranjith has given to the film’s background. He knows how fashion-conscious people in that area are, how they use colours,” adds Karthi. Madras has sensational music by Santhosh Narayanan and will see the light of day on September 26.
