Macedonia-based professional magician, Gogo Requiem, who has worked with Thalapathy Vijay in Mersal, has showered praises on the actor.

Gogo was the main consultant for the magic effects sequences in the film which were shot in Macedonia in their extended Europe schedule.
“Incredible person….he performed everything so fast so I couldn’t believe that he does not have experience in the art of magic,” said Gogo on his social media page.
Gogo is a member of The International Brotherhood of Magicians, the world’s largest organization of magicians.
In other news, Mersal has become the first South Indian movie title to be trademarked. Thenandal Films has received a trademark certificate to treat the film as a professional product and to ensure that their title is not exploited for any other commercial purposes.
