“I am not Atharavaa’s girl friend,” says Lakshmi Rai

The final schedule of Irumbu Kuthirai is underway in Pondicherry and shooting is going in full swing without a break. Directed by Yuvaraj Bose and produced by AGS Entertainemtn, Irumbu Kuthirai features Atharvaa and Priya Anand in the lead roles. It also has a good supporting cast in Lakhsmi Rai, Johnny Tri Nguyen and Jagan. Alisha Abdullah, India’s first female racing champion is playing a pivotal role in the film.

Talking about her role in the film, Lakshmi Rai says, “We are currently shooting the last schedule and will wrap up soon. I play the role of a Pondy girl, who is a biker in the film. The team is currently shooting high-end chase scenes with Atharvaa. I love bike-riding, but the bike I ride in the film is a highly advanced one and it’s little tough to learn the nuances.” She also clarifies that she is not playing the girl friend of Atharvaa in the film though she shares screen space in most of the scenes with the Paradesi actor.
