“I agree Ajith’s decision to stay away from media,” says Gautham Menon

Gautham Menon has agreed Ajith’s decision to keep himself aloof and completely refrained from all promotional activities is indeed good. Ajith never gives interviews to media and he stopped it years back. One can’t even recall the last interview given by Thala. Earlier, he used to meet media for a get together on the eve of his films’ release. Now, he’s not even practicising that. “An actor is like lightning. In particular, big heroes should not appear in public often. He need not talk about his forthcoming films. There is no necessity to do promotions also,” says Gautham Menon, who directs Ajith in Thala 55. 

Gautham Menon says the expectations of audiences will subside if the Ajith starts talking about his role and reveals his makeovers in public. “This is my opinion and this is Ajith’s opinion too. That’s why he is staying away from media limelight,” says Gautham.
