How did Pen Movies come on board Rajini Murugan?
Bollywood production house Pen Movies, whose name has been included in the recent posters of Rajini Murugan, has reportedly bailed out director Lingusamy in resolving his long-standing financial quagmire with Eros International to release the film for Pongal on January 14th. We have learnt from our close sources that Lingusamy held several rounds of discussion in Mumbai with Dhaval Gada of Pen Movies to help get Rajini Murugan on screens.
It must also be noted that Dhaval Gada will be producing the official Hindi remake of Paiyya under his banner Pen Movies, best known for bankrolling Akshay’s Singh is Bling and Vidya Balan’s Kahaani. The Hindi remake will be helmed by Lingusamy and feature Vidyut Jamwal, who earlier collaborated with Lingu in Suriya’s Anjaan.
