Honoured to receive the Raindropss Women Achievers Award: Nayanthara
Lady Super Star Nayanthara called on Raindropss yesterday to receive the 5th annual Women Achievers Award in person, immediately after landing in Chennai. Music director and goodwill ambassador of Raindropss AR Raihanah, Founder and Creative Head of Raindropss Aravind Jayabal, Trustees Vivek R Nair, Arun Loganathan, Deepak Chandrasekharan, Subbu Lakshmi and Nizaam Mohammed were present to hand over the award to Nayanthara.
“Honoured, humbled & privileged to have received the Raindropss Women Achievers Award. Genuinely wished to collect it in person but due to extended shooting timings happening out of Chennai, I wasn’t able to be a part of such a lovely event! Even though I usually don’t attend many functions, I would have loved to be a part of such an honest event which is for a social cause. Hard luck to have missed it! Heartfelt apologies for not making it! Thank you again for the award!! Wishing all the very best to Raindropss for all the great things they are up to,” said Nayanthara in a statement.
