Honored to get punched by Rajini sir, says Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar, who makes inroads into the Tamil and Telugu industries with the magnum opus 2.0, spoke highly about the film in the Telugu pre-release event that took place yesterday. The actor said that 2.0 was not a film for him, and it was like a school where Shankar was the principal.
“I’ve been in the industry for 28 years, and in these 28 years, I must have not have learned so much that I learnt in this film. I thank Shankar sir for giving me the opportunity to work in this film, with the biggest Superstar of India. When you give Rajini sir one line, he will create magic out of it. And when I was offered to get the villain’s role, I was honored to get punched by him” he said.
