It is now confirmed that the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru will be underway soon, with Suriya set to collaborate with Abundantia Entertainment under his home banner – 2D Entertainment. The project will be going on floors in the final quarter of the year, with the lead actor set to be announced soon.
Recently, talks were on that Akshay Kumar will be taking up the role, but there is no official word on the same yet. Sudha Kongara, who will be directing the remake, will be working on the dialogues with Hindi writers.
