Hansika to romance Ajith in Thala 56?

Hansika Motwani is in the running for the lead heroine in Ajith’s next film with director Siva of Veeram fame. Earlier, names like Bollywood actress Vidya Balan and the most-happening south Indian actress Samantha were floated, but later the reports were denied as rumors. Now, sources say the team is eager to rope in Hansika as the female lead. This untitled flick will roll out from December after Ajith completes Gautham Menon’s Thala 55 in November. Santhanam is likely to play Ajith’s sidekick in the film. The details about the cast and crew, including the producer, will be known later.

Meawhile, Hansika is busy shooting Vishal’s Aambala, Jayam Ravi’s Romeo Juliet and has few leftover scenes in Simbu’s Vaalu. She is also awaiting the release of Arya’s Meaghamann and Simbu’s Vettai Mannan. She has also signed Vijay’s upcoming film with Chimbudevan.
