GV Prakash starts composing work on Vaadi Vasal

On the occasion of Ugadhi which fell yesterday, composer GV Prakash kick-started the composing work for his next biggie Vaadi Vasal, which stars Suriya and is to be directed by Vetrimaaran. The film is said to be based on the events that take place during the Jallikattu festives, and will be a gritty tale on the whole.

Vetrimaaran is now working on his film with Soori, which also has Vijay Sethupathi in the cast. The director had earlier said that Vaadi Vasal is a film that has to be shot with a lot of junior artists and crowds, so it is better that the current coronavirus situation gets completely out of the picture before the shoot begins.
