GV Prakash is an ardent fan of MGR

As GV Prakash’s debut film Pencil is gearing up for a mid summer release, the composer-turned-actor’s next film Trisha Illana Nayanthara is gaining attention already. GVP plays the role of an ardent fan of  former Chief Minister and people’s star MG Ramachandran in the film. “The film focuses on the events that happen from the time G V finishes school and ends college. GV plays an ardent fan of the late Chief Minister MGR and often sports a T-shirt with his picture in the film,” says a reliable source.

GVP will romance Anandhi, who plays the titular role in Prabhu Solomon’s Kayal, in this rom-com to be directed by debutant Adhik Ravichandran. The film actually has two heroines, Anandhi and a debutante Shrishti. The shooting for the film is likely to kickstart in June.
