I have great respect for Bala sir: Mysskin
Director Mysskin, who is currently working on the post-production work of his paranormal thriller Pisaasu produced by Bala’s B studios, says he has great respect for the auteur. “I have great respect for Bala sir as a director and he knows how to support a director like me. His opinions and suggestions matter a lot. He saw Onayum Aatukuttiyum and signed me on right after that. I pitched the idea of Pisasu and he was fine with it,” says Mysskin.
Mysskin says paranormal is highly unexplored in Tamil cinema and he has decided to take the baton. “The paranormal is highly unexplored as a subject, yet people have a negative idea of it because of what we’ve seen in movies and heard from stories. My intention is to give it a new angle without necessarily proving that ghosts exist,” adds Mysskin. Starring newcomers Naga and Prayaga Martin in lead roles, Pisaasu has Radharavi and Harish Uthaman in important roles. It has music by debutant Arrol Corelli.
