Good Bad Ugly: Ajith starrer becomes highest Tamil grosser of 2025 so far, rocking run worldwide!

Ajith’s latest outing in Good Bad Ugly has rocked the box office in the opening weekend, grossing over 170CRORES worldwide in its opening 5 days (April 10th-14th). The film has already hit major milestones across the globe, and has become the highest grosser of the year so far, overtaking Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon.
GBU has minted 103CR crore mark in TN which is another addition to the list of films doing the same in the home state for Ajith, the third one following Viswasam and Thunivu.
It has done pretty well in the neighboring states too, with Karnataka cashing in close to 10CR, and Kerala giving in 3CR. In addition to these, the Telugu states are in the range of 3.5 to 4 crores for the film.
In the overseas countries, Good Bad Ugly has amassed a number of 50 crores, which is a terrific performance considering Ajith’s previous films and the size of the release. The numbers are as follows:
Malaysia – $1.55M, Middle East $1.22M, North America – $1.028M, Singapore – $520K, UK -$360K, Europe – $440K, Australia – $165K, Newzealand – $20K, ROW Estimates- $300K
Good Bad Ugly is about to cross the 200 crore club before the weekend, and will have more to score hereon. Also, it is worth mentioning here that in BookMyShow alone 2M+ tickets were sold in such a short span of time!
Followed by the success meet of Hyderabad, team GBU will be conducting one in Chennai, tomorrow (Apr 16th).
