Genie: Jayam Ravi’s next is progressing well in Chennai!
Jayam Ravi’s next big film is Genie, and the shoot for the film is now getting done in Chennai, at a huge set put up in ECR. Being the most expensive film in the actor’s career, the film is being shot on a budget of 100 crores, and features 3 heroines – Wamiqa Gabbi, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Krithi Shetty.
The shoot of this schedule will go on for a month’s time, after which the team will move to another state to film some important portions. The film produced by Vels International is said to be shaping up very well and will be ready for release in the second half of 2024.
Music for this biggie will be composed by AR Rahman and the movie is slated to hit the screens in 5 languages (Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada & Malayalam).
