Gauthami is a good performer, says Jeethu Joseph

Kamal Haasan’s Papanasam, the Tamil remake of blockbuster Malayalam Drishyam is progressing at a brisk pace. The team is looking forward to wrap up the shoot in three-four quick schedules. Kamal Haasan and Gauthami are coming together on screen after nearly two decades and it has upped the ante for film buffs. The first visuals of shooting spot was aired on Asianet News channel and Gauthami looked pious as a Tamil Brahmin.

“We wanted to someone to reprise the natural performance of Meena. So, we zeroed in on Gauthami mam. And, she is a good performer,” said diretcor Jeetu Joseph. Produced by Suresh Balaji under his banner Wide Angle Films, Papanasam has music by Ghibran and dialogues by Jeyamohan.
