Gautham Menon unlikely to work with Suriya now

The misunderstanding between Gautham and Suriya  caught everyone’s attention when the latter backed out of Dhruva Natchathiram. Gautham Menon has clarified in an interview that it didn’t happen like how Suriya declared. Suriya sent a press release and stated that Gautham didn’t narrate him the script and that’s the reason for his withdrawal from the project. “He’d stated that I didn’t tell him the script. But the question is, whether I didn’t tell him the script at all, or didn’t tell him the one he’d like to hear. I was disappointed, but only for three hours. After that, I just moved on. That night itself we started the Simbu film,” says Gautham in an interview.

When quizzed about joining hands with Suriya again, Gautham said, “Right now, I don’t see that happening. Somewhere two people have to connect. Whenever I write a script, Trisha has been my first choice for lead because we have a good connect – like I feel with Ajith and the comfort level that I always feel with Simbu… till I feel that connect with somebody, I am not looking to work with that person.”

When Gautham can reconcile his relationship with Harris Jayaraj after years, we hope he joins hands with Suriya too soon keeping the differences aside.
