Indrajith set to begin

Gautham Karthik, who is having a bunch of films in his kitty and ready for his 3 upcoming releases Sippai, Yennamo Yedho, Vai Raja Vai, is now gearing up for his next ‘Indrajith’. This action entertainer will be directed by Kalaa Prabhu (Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu’s son) who earlier directed Sakkarakatti and the shoot is said to be starting tomorrow (Jan 20th) in Chennai. Music for this film will be scored by the trio, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and a Mumbai based girl, newcomer Sonarika will be playing female lead opposite Gautham Karthik.

To a English daily, Director Kalaa Prabhu has said, “We will be recording the songs once the first schedule of the film is over. We will start shooting in Chennai and move to Goa. After these locations, we will begin shooting in the northeast of the country.” The film is titled after the character Gautham plays in the film. “In the Ramayana, Ravana’s son Indrajith was on the wrong side of virtue. But, this Indrajith is on the right side. Like the mythological character, he has the ability to be at any place he chooses at any time”
