Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been lavishing praise on the recently-released Telugu-Malayalam bi-lingual film Naa Bangaaru Talli and going the extra mile to promote the film through all means. Apparently, she was moved to tears after watching this highly-sensitive film which revolves around human trafficking. Naa Bangaaru Talli tells the story of a girl who is rescued from a prostitution racket based on a real-life incident. It already won National Awards for best feature film, best background score and special mention for actress Anjali Patil.
“I watched a film last night that I don’t mind going knocking on peoples houses to make them watch. Naa Bangaru Thalli. If there is one woman who inspires me, it is Dr. Sunitha Krishnan, who runs Prajwala, producer of this film. Love you ma’am. Congratulations to the entire team for all the awards they have already won . Well deserved,” tweeted Samantha.
Already, celebrities including Amala, Regina Cassandra and Lavanya Tripathi have been raving about the film which released last Friday after rasing money through crowd-funding for distribution.
“Naa Bangaru Thalli is a must watch film for all. I urge everyone to please watch it. Rajesh and Sunitha worked very hard to make this film happen. I’m ashamed to say that I haven’t acted in a film like this. Before my retirement, I want to do at least one realistic film like this,” adds Samantha.
