Film industry unites to rehabilitate Chennai flood victims

The entire film industry has come together to help the flood-hit Chennai and Cuddalore. After the past few days have been spent productively in handing over basic essentials in extensive amounts across the flood-ravaged areas, RJ Balaji and Siddharth, who spearhead the campaign, have announced that their focus is to rehabilitate victims since the rains have subsided and water has started receding.

Vignesh Shivan, Dhanush, Chinmayi, Archana Kalpathi, Suriya, Jayam Ravi, Vishal, Karthik, Suchitra and infinite number of selfless volunteers have been delivering basic amenities over the past few days by getting on the ground. Telugu film stars have also united and started an initiative called Mana Madras Kosam. Malayalam film industry has also come forward and collaborated with various NGOs to form a campaign called Anbodu Kochi to expedite the relief measures in Chennai.
