Escape Artists Motion Pictures bags Taana and Velai Illa Pattathari

Escape Artists Motion Pictures has snapped up the theatrical rights of Velai Illa Pattathari and Taana and will release the films throughout Tamil Nadu under their production house. Madan who is at the helm of EAMP confirmed the same on his Twitter page, “Escape Artists Motion Pictures have Acquired TN Theatrical Rights of VIP & Taana.” VIP is slated for release in July and the team is looking forward to release Taana in September.

Both Taana and VIP are produced by Dhanush’s home banner Wunderbar Films. Directed by cinematographer turned director Velraj, Velai Illa Pattathari features Dhanush and Amala Paul in lead roles. Taana is directed by Durai Senthilkumar and has Sivakarthikeyan and Sri Divya in lead roles. It is worth mentioning that Sivakarthikeyan’s last two films Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam and Maan Karate were bankrolled by Escape Artists Motion Pictures.
