Eros International bags WW rights for Suriya’s Masss

Eros International has acquired the worldwide theatrical rights of Suriya’s Masss directed by Venkat Prabhu and will distribute the film along with Studio Green who co-produces the film with Suriya’s 2D Entertainments. Studio Green recently collaborated with Eros International and announced that it will release Sivakarthikeyan’s Rajini Murugan in Tamil Nadu. Now, within few days of the announcement, here comes another official tie-up between the two indicating more partnerships in distribution in future.

Masss is scheduled for release in June or July 2015 since Rajini Murugan is already slated for release on May 1st. It is touted to be the first Tamil film to be shot in 3D from the beginning. Masss features Suriya, Nayanthara and Pranitha in the lead. It also has a stellar supporting cast including Premgi Amaren, Parthiepan, Riyaz Khan, Samuthirakani, Madhu Sudhan, Sreeman and Karunas in important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes music for this supernatural thriller.
