Endhiran 2.0 starts rolling in EVP
The principal shooting of Endhiran 2.0 starts today and Shankar has confirmed it on his official Twitter page. “2.0 shoot starts from tomorrow.. Excited!!!,” posted Shankar. The team will initially shoot the non-Rajinikanth portions throughout this month in EVP, Chembarambakkam. However, Shankar will start the first day shoot with Rajinikanth today and it is confirmed by Soundarya, who is reportedly working in the film. Amy Jackson will be reportedly seen as a robot and paired opposite Chitti in the film.
Madhan Karky, who worked in Endhiran, took to his micro-blogging page and said, “Endhiran 2.0 shoot begins today. Happy and proud to be part of the sequel. Heartfelt thanks and wishes to Director @shankarshanmugh.” [SIC]
Rajinikanth is currently shooting for Kabali and is expected to join the team end-January or early-February. While Arnold Schwarzenegger is reportedly out of the film, the team is hunting for a Bollywood hero to play the baddie. The technical crew of 2.0 comprises of AR Rahman for music, Nirav Shah for cinematography, Sean Foot for makeup, Muthuraj for art department and Srinivas Mohan for visual effects.
