Empuraan storms 100CR at the worldwide box office in less than 2 days!
Mohanlal – Prithviraj’s Empuraan has taken a monstrous opening worldwide, breaching 100CR gross in less than 2 days! This marks Empuraan as the fastest Malayalam film to reach this milestone in such a short period of time!
In Kerala, Empuraan is now the biggest day one opener by grossing 14+CR surpassing previous best, Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo of 12+CR. Rest of India marks 9.8CR that includes 2CR from TN, 3.8CR from Karnataka, 1.5CR from AP/TS and 2.5CR from North India. In overseas, this mega biggie grosses over 43CR ($5M) making it as the biggest opener ever for a Malayalam film, that brings the total of 66CR+ gross on Day 1 worldwide!
