Elred Kumar opens up about Jiiva and Thulasi Nair’s roles in Yaan

Elred Kumar, the producer of Ravi K Chandran’s Yaan, has opened up about the roles of Jiiva and Thulasi Nair in the film. The film which recently received appreciation from Bollywood celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan has got a clean U certificate from the censor board. “Jiiva plays Chandru, an unemployed MBA graduate. His happy-go-lucky nature makes him irresponsible. However, certain incidents that he comes across change his life,” says Elred to a daily.

“Thulasi plays Sreela, who is just out of college. Unlike Jiiva’s character, Thulasi plays one of those sincere, responsible girls that a guy would fall for,” say Elred Kumar about Thulasi Nair’s role.  Set to hit screens on October 2, Yaan also has Nasser, Karunakaran, Jaya Prakash, Bose Venkat and Thambi Ramaiah in important roles. Elred Kumar also promises that Yaan will be a complete commercial entertainer.
