Dream Warrior Pictures goes international

Dream Warrior Pictures, who has produced acclaimed films including Joker, Kaashora and Maya, goes international with its next project The Sunshine, to be directed by indie filmmaker Leena Manimekalai of Sengadal fame.

Being made as an Indo-French-Canadian project, The Sunshine is the only Tamil film chosen by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) Film Bazaar, Goa out of the 19 films submitted under Asia category. The project, which revolves around the ordeal of a Sri Lankan Tamil Armstrong who flees from war-torn Sri Lanka, is expected to start rolling from mid-2017.
