“Don’t misinterpret Dandanakka,” requests Jayam Ravi

After Dhanush’s Dangamaari in Anegan, the song Dandanakka from the Jayam Ravi and Hansika-starrer Romeo Juliet is the talk of the K’town now. The song composed by Imman, crooned by Anirudh and penned by Rokesh of Dangamaari fame, has gone viral and netizens have already started producing mash-up videos jesting at T Rajendar’s dance moves with the song. Jayam Ravi, Imman and director Lakshman took to their official social media pages yesterday and requested fans to not misinterpret their tribute to TR.

#Dandanakka is a tribute to the multifaceted personality T.Rajendar sir as I play the role of his fan in my upcoming movie #RomeoJuliet. However certain videos are showing TR sir in bad light which has hurt the sentiments of people involved in this song. I sincerely request my fans to not encourage such videos & misinterpret the intention of #Dandanakka. I thank you all once again for the love shown for #Dandanakka & making it a huge success!,” posted Jayam Ravi in a string of tweets.

Guys it’s a humble request pls don’t make bad videos on tr sir I had dedicated dandanakka  song on tr sir n I love him so much so pls. Pls guy’s I don’t want tr sir to get hurt enjoy it but don’t hurt,” posted director Lakshman.
